Abstract:
Technique for changing matter at the molecular level is one of the World's only new enabling technologies, having many hundreds of electro-optic applications. These methods will be used to develop the worlds first 2 D / 3 D Area / Volume Holographic mass storage device. Atomic Holographic Nanotechnology will allow for the first time a functional method for programmable molecular lenses that will allow incoming light to be rejected, modified internally, or allowed to pass unaltered through a transparent lens.
By being able to program optical lenses, many applications based on light and color can be developed, such as holographic storage, bio-terror detection devices, optical electronics, security products, and hundreds of other products.
This paper consists of Introduction of Atomic Holographic Optical Storage Nanotechnology, and the present day data storage technology. The second section consists of Theory of operation of holographic optical storage technology and third section consists of Reading and Writing of Ferroelectric molecule. The fourth section consists of Advantage of Atomic holographic optical disk drive storage and the fifth section consists of some of the development unknowns.
Final part of the paper consist of the conclusion for the future Atomic holographic optical drive, a non-destructive read and writes for the retention of data storage for 100 years or more with drive densities of 40,000 terabits/cu.cm. and up this will allow the holographic optical nanotechnology drive to hold more data than any other type of drive and deliver data much faster.
