How to get the job?
          These are the steps involved in getting the job you prefer

Step 1:
          The placement office will give you the details about the company and the due date for submitting the biodata forms. Get the biodata forms from your cooperative society fill the data asked in it and submit it to the placement office.

Step 2:
          The placement office will give you the details of the venue of the PPT(PRE PLACEMENT TALK) which can be found in the cuic notice board. you  have to get ready for the test since the test will be conducted immediately after the ppt. you can also prepare the questions to ask in the ppt regarding the company. You should also be ready with the following certificates since the interview can be conducted immediately after the test.

·                                Grade sheets upto current semester.
·                                Mark sheets of 10th and +2.
·                                Co-curricular activities certificate.
·                                Certificates related to your skills in computers and in other areas.
·                                All other certificates which you think are important.

You should also get ready to answer the questions regarding the projects done in the college or details About the papers presented by you if any.

Step3:
          You have to assemble in the venue at the prescribed time for the ppt. The company people will conduct a small meeting or a computer presentation and describe the details about the company .you can ask questions about the Company to them. The salary details will be told by them at that time. The salary details you’ll get from the CUIC is only approximate and not accurate.

Step4:
          In this step you have to attend a test or a GD(GROUP DISCUSSION CONDUCTED ONLY BY SATYAM). While writing the test please follow the guidelines provided by the people conducting the test.

Step 5:
          Based on your performance in the test and nothing else you will be short listed for the Interview. The information regarding the venue of the interview and the time can be got from the CUIC after two or three hrs after the test.

Step 6:
This is the most important step in your life. Some companies prefer a neat dress code (formals) for the interview and some don’t, in any case you should be ready to face the interview with your certificates which are very important, In the last time please don’t mess up with the certificates.

Step 7:
          Attend the interview without fear and answer the questions properly. if you are not sure about the answer please tell them that u have no idea about it. sit  straight in front of the panel. Please note that your answers should be crisp. In the interview the possible questions fired are
·                                why you are preferring their company
·                                about the projects done by you
·                                Technical questions.
·                                Infosys asks puzzles in the interview
·                                What you want to be in their company

In return you can also fire them by asking the details about the company, in what area they are working inand what they expect from you. Overall the interview will be very interesting.

Step 8:
          This step is the most beautiful step of the whole process you’ll get selected for the job and this information can be got from the CUIC after the interview gets over.

Step 9:
          You’ll get the offer letter from the officials of the company immediately or after some days. This letter will contain the details about where you have to undergo training, your date of joining, salary details, bond details if any(TCS,SATYAM).

Step 10:
          Join the company and fulfil the dream you have been seeing.

Note: -

          If you didn’t get short listed in the test or didn’t get selected in the interview than don’t worry keep in mind that there are still a lot of good companies to come and you are gaining the momentum for the next interview, if you work hard you will definitely get placed in a much better company than the one you have missed.
