Project Description

                      COSMCS – Coin Operated Solar Mobile Charger System is a high tech cosmopolitan environment friendly charging device. It uses solar power as the source during summer season and AC input during rainy season. It has a solar absorbing plate, which charges the battery. An indicator indicates the power availability of the device. Users can be able to charge their day to day need mobiles by inserting one rupee coin. An optical sensor unit recognizes the coin and initiates a timer circuit and charge the mobile till end of the timer. This device can be used as a travel charging unit in transportation units. Also it can be used effectively in defense areas where the power source cannot be obtained. More than all of these, this device helps to reduce Global Warming by utilizing solar power.
